The hills along the east side of Monterey County hide many lovely valleys, well off the beaten path. Peach Tree Valley is one of them, tucked between the Diablo and Gabilan Ranges. The San Andreas Fault runs along the far side of this valley, and shows as the steep scarp at the base of the mountains.
