Jeff's Green Sweater

DH Jeff wore into shreds the fisherman's rib sweater this is based on. Huge and bulky, with a big shawl collar to pull up over his ears. The stitch pattern is BW's Pavilion Pattern (2:18), modified to remove the "extra" purl sts that simply looked messy in this gauge. The yarn is a dark green Paton's Canadiana, 100% acrylic. I had fun with the shawl collar, shortrowing for extra height in the back and going up a needle size every few rows. Next time I'll make it even more extravagant!
